Montreal, November 24, 2014 – Triasima is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Couture as Senior Director, Legal Affairs and Compliance. Philippe holds a Bachelor of Law from Université Laval and a Master’s degree in Business Law from Université de Montréal. Mr. Couture is a member of the Quebec Bar Association.

Mr. Couture has been working as legal counsel for over 10 years. Prior to joining Triasima, Philippe practiced commercial law at Heenan Blaikie. He also occupied various functions at the Autorité des marchés financiers. More recently, Philippe acted as legal adviser for Société Générale at its Paris office and as Chief Compliance Officer for the Bank’s Montreal based brokerage subsidiary.

As Senior Director, Legal Affairs and Compliance, Philippe Couture is responsible for the legal, governance, and compliance functions at Triasima.

Triasima is equally pleased to announce that Nicola Haratonian has joined the firm as Financial Analyst. Nicola holds a Bachelors Degree in Management from HEC Montreal and is a CFA Charterholder.

Mr. Haratonian is primarily involved in the fundamental analysis of US and International equities. He also contributes to the management and monitoring of client portfolios, and provides a general support to the portfolio management team.

Mr. Haratonian has 7 years of financial industry experience. Prior to joining Triasima, Nicola assumed similar functions covering Canadian Equities at Optimum Asset Management.
